Bobby Evans (Fred Rowsell) was born and raised in Glovertown on September 16th, 1942 to Caleb and Jesse Rowsell, along with his three brothers and five sisters. Bobby married his high school sweetheart Margaret, when he was 21 and she was 17 and after all these years are still happily married. Margaret and Bobby had three children and have been foster parents for the past thirty years. Bobby's daughter Pamela is also a talented singer who use to perform with Bobby at a very young age. Margaret and Bobby now have two beautiful grandchildren who both live in Calgary, Alberta with Pamela and her husband. Bobby's mom bought him his first guitar when he was just 12 years old as a come home present after spending 3 years in the hospital recovering from tuberculosis. Even though the tuberculosis had a lasting effect on his leg, the disability has not kept Bobby from giving his best while performing, writing and recording music. Bobby was always a bright and happy child who had a natural love of music from a very young age. An older gentleman noticed his talent and taught him to play the madolin while he was in hospital even though the guitar has remained his favorite instrument. |
